For clients
The client portal
One place to see your matter, your documents, and what needs you.
If your attorney's firm runs on Per Stirpes, you have a client portal on the firm's own web address. It shows your engagement the way the firm sees it: where things stand, the documents shared with you, anything waiting on you, and your invoices.
Signing in
There is no password. The firm sends sign-in links by email — click the link, and you're in. Links expire after a while for your protection; if yours has, the expired page lets you request a fresh one with one click, sent to the same address.
What you'll find
- Home — your matters at a glance and anything that needs your attention.
- Your matter — where the engagement stands, in plain terms.
- Documents — drafts and executed documents the firm has shared with you, ready to download.
- Uploads — a place to send the firm files they've asked for (a deed, a beneficiary statement). The firm is notified when you do.
- Tasks — typically your intake questionnaire, until it's done.
- Invoices — what's been billed and what's been paid, with card payment built in.
Couples
On a joint engagement, both spouses have their own sign-in and see the shared matter. The questionnaire is shared too — see the questionnaire for how that works.
