Scheduling
Consultations and signing ceremonies that book themselves.
Connect a calendar
Each attorney connects their own calendar — Google or Microsoft — under Settings → Scheduling. Availability comes from the real calendar, so a booking can never double-book a court date. Video conferencing for consultations attaches automatically where configured.
Consultations
From a matter at Schedule, staff send a booking link. The prospect picks a time on the attorney's actual availability; the booking is confirmed by email on both sides. When the booking lands, the platform records it and the matter advances — no manual update. If a consultation happens outside the booking flow (a phone call that turned into the consult), staff record it directly with Mark consult held.
Signing ceremonies
Signing works the same way with a longer appointment: when documents are ready, staff send a signing invitation, the client books the in-person ceremony, and the matter tracks scheduled → held. After the ceremony, staff confirm it happened and the matter moves to Closing.
When in doubt, record the fact
Every scheduling automation has a manual fallback. The calendar integration is a convenience; the record of what happened belongs to the firm either way.
